Hi and thanks in advance for your assistance.

I have a 1993 Ez Loader VIN 1L8t12025P1S86504

I bought it like this so please don't make fun of me....

Anyways, I want to get the break assist working but I cannot figure out what this part would be called or where to buy one. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Don't think the correct part would do the same job as the incorrect part is doing. Will slide in the slot. What in your opinion is the correct part doing?

Front bolt is correct it needs to slide to activate the actuator. Do you feel the trailer come forward when you stop. With that type of braking system you will feel the trailer slightly come forward. Even more noticable is when you pull out you hear a tell tail clunk. If it is moving maybe no fluid in resevoir or you have out of ajustment brakes or a bad actuator.

Having the unit slide is what I believe needs to happen to cause the brakes to work. The bolt is keeping the it from sliding. Whatever the part labeled correct part is, would allow the unit to slide when I slow down engaging he brakes. After further investigation I see the that previous owner removed BOTH calipers:mad: I guess I got some work to do...

Anyways, anyone know what the heck that part would be called or where I could purchase it? (um and I guess some calipers too)

Re: What is this part called?

Ezloader buys the brake parts from other manufacturers. Just go to UFP for the coupler/actuater parts.

Ayuh,... Both parts are the Correct parts,...
The anchor pin in the aft connection has a different job than the bolt in the forward position...
If the bolt is Too tight as it is,.. Get 1, 1/2" longer...

Like Bruce says,... Trailer builders don't build All the parts, they Buy 'em...
