I have a 1986 Evinrude 40 HP outboard. Fuel is leaking from a part that has a red knob I think is used for adjusting the fuel mixture. It is also leaking fuel through the prop? What is the part and where can I find one?
the part is a primer solenoid. it replace the choke butterfly in the carb. there are rebuild kits for them. or watch ebay and buy a replacement. the lever should be as in the picture.
