Hi I just bought a 1991 DT15C. I haven't run it yet since I don't have the fuel connector and the "emergency kill switch lanyard" is gone too. It does run if I hold down the kils switch lanyard button and spray fuel into the carb....
Here's my question: Mine has this wire coming out the the front of the motor and it's be cut off. I don't know what it is. Is it for a charging system? Could that be what th "C" stands for? I know it doesn't have electric start.
Update, I just found out the C stands for "oil injection". Still not sure what the wire is for.
