Recently was "given" a 1993 Four Winns Horizon 180. I've never had I/O before so all new to me. Bilge pump quit. Someone had tie wrapped a Sahara s500 pump to a white cylindrical metal piece mounted upright below oil pan to bottom of boat. My guess is this was the mount for the original bilge pump? If so should I try to replace with OEM and use this mount? Is 500 GPH adequate or should I step it up to a higher GPH? The piece in question is is under water right now so no picture.
