What is WOT rating for a 1988 OMC COBRA?

I have a crate 350 with an OMC Cobra Outdrive and should be a 1988 model. Can anyone get me close to the Wide Open Throttle rating so I can get the correct pitch for a 4 or 3 blade. I am currently running a 15 x 17 and wish to get closer to the WOT. Thoughts anyone? I am assuming 4500 rpm but just guessing?

4200-4600 for that engine so 4500 is good. What are you running now?

I seem to be close to 4000 at a 15 x 17 prop

Then you might want to try a 15 x 15, this should give you another 300-400 rpms plus a little better hole shot.

I am looking at a 15 x 16 four blade, would that get me close?

I just tried a 4 blade 15x16 and I hated it...too much drag, thrust shot bosw up and had a heck of a time getting to plain....going back to my 15x17 or 15x15 3 blade.

OK, I am going back out to run the boat with the 3 blade 15x17 and see what WOT I get. I will then work the math...more to come...thanks to all for the post.
