I have a 1975 Sears Ted Williams (Eska) 5.5 (mod.# = 217.58571.0) and the motor is a Tecumseh (mod.# = T643-20B). There is a screw bolt in the lower unit that says fill right below it. Is that a plug for oil? If so what type of oil do i replace it wit? If you need to see a picture of it there is one in this thread that looks just like mine.

Yes, that's the fill hole for the lower unit oil. It's normally labeled as high-viscosity oil for outboard motors. Any brand will do. Walmart has it, as does any place that sells stuff for outboards.

I don't know that outboard specifically, so I can't tell you if there is a drain plug on the bottom of the lower unit or not. Probably not. If that's the case, you drain the lower unit by turning the outboard on its side so the oil can drain out. You'd fill it in the same hole, upright, until the oil just starts coming out the hole.
