Look at your HIN.If its 12 digits its a '73 or newer,if its less than 12 its a '72 or older.Boat manafactures were required to put 12 digit HIN's on all boats produced after '72.

Even so find yours and send it to Alumacraft, they will research it for you,my title said mine is a '81,but my HIN is 6 digits,so i sent the number to Alumacraft and they came back telling me its a '67..........which was the year i was born,so massive cool  I had a feeling she was older than a '81 off the bat,but as i live 1 mile from a lake boats sell high here.

I am very new to the Aluma world, but i am sure River-Runner will chime in here before too long on what ya have;)

Reguardless you have a fine looking vessel, but anything that gets us on the water is fine in my eyes.

On some older Alumacraft, a number is stamped on the knee brace for the transom. Maybe they are still doing that. Good luck. Enjoy your boat.

I looked when you first posted, and thought is it Alumacraft? It does have the name and what do I know.

For now, I can't help. Looks to be in great shape.

To me, first it looks like the decks and pedestal seats were added and the boat has been painted. You may have to get under the decks to get a model number or it could also be painted over. If it wasn't removed, it should be stamped at the transom, also check the brace close, or it's tagged somewhere on the boat. If you would, keep us informed.

It should scoot with that motor! Enjoy.

As my Aluma brothers have suggested..........If its a older Aluma it can be rough to locate the HIN.Mine was stamped into the metal on a transom support brace and it was very faded. If you like me have bad eyes it can take a good time to find it.

Once it gets lighter out and i dig out my truck and boat from the nice foot of snow Mother Nature decided to dump on me last night i will post a picture of where mine is..............i was going to put her in the water this morning:facepalm:

The weather has been nasty till today so i went out and finally took a shot of where my VIN is located on the transom support brace on my '67 FD

I am starting to realize that AlumaCrafts are really neat boats. From the A series to the lunker and beyond...they're it!
