Howdy wizzap

Welcome to iboats :)

Well, your engine is a 1992 Johnson 6HP.

That tells you zero about your boat, which is a bit more than I can tell you. Sorry.

If its newer than 1973, it should have a hull number, usually on the starboard transom area.

If it is older than 1973, it may just have a 4 or 5 digit number stamped under the seat or near a corner bracket.

Didn't the previous owner give you the registration records?

If you can get a new id number, stamp it in or engrave it.
Then list it as manufacturer "unknown" or "home built".

Someone at the GA DNR should be able to help you.

Go ever it real well, and look for a label that may have been painted over. After having our trailer dismantled for a week, and after have grinding the paint and rust away, off and on for a week, we found the plate to our moody trailer yesterday. It had been painted over, so we hadn't seen it.
