What kind of gear lube or oil for Volvo?

I recently purchased a 1986 Bayliner 2855 with twin Volvo 305?s and I believe 275 outdrive?s. I pulled the dipstick on one of my drives and it was dry the other side had nice clean oil in it. What type of oil or gear lube do I need to use. If they are not 275?s what are they? Attached is the only picture I have of the stern.

Thanks in advance
Dan

You need to drain the oil, disconnect the ujoint bellows and check it for oil. Then pressure check the drive and find out where the gear lube is going.
if you run that upper without oil and damage the bearings and gears, you aren't going to be happy with the cost of repairs.
