I have an OMC V8 260hp (350) motor in my boat. There is a temperature sender on the block, just below the thermostat housing. I also have a temperature sender on the thermostat housing. I have checked my Seloc and Clymer manuals and neither make reference to this sender. I know it turns on my high temperature alarm, but where do I get a new one, and why doesn't the manual show them? Could this have been an after thought by the original owner, or was this a factory installed unit? There are two wires connected to it, a tan with blue(?) tracer and an other one. Thanks!

One sender is for the temp gauge and the other is for an alarm that was probably added aftermarket. Charlie
