What a woman!!!A girl I know named Debbie had one of those. She was introduced to me as someone that might be able to help her get it running right. After umpteen tune up parts I found that clamping the slightly dried out rubber hose on the vacuum advance with a piece of bailing wire fixed it.
I got so excited that it was running right when I was test driving it that I forgot about a stop sign, and slid through it going downhill on sandy pavement. Took the left front corner off the pickup, and the front half off the comet I hit.
Debbie just laughed it off. She didn't get mad, she got even. She married me.
That was in 1969. We're still working it out.
