what looks like battery acid damage to my 1974 holiday hull best way to repair

i was looking over my new to me holiday and noticed a couple of soft spots in the hull 2 on the transom and 2 on the hull

looking at the inside it looks like there are only holes it doesnt look scalely

they range from 3/16 to about 3/8

what would be the best way to repair this

Bob, can you throw up some pics? Are they thin spots or through the aluminum?

compltely through the hull after some poking at them

i will get some pics when i get back to the boat

Thanks, Bob. Pics will help us formulate a plan of attack for you. When you get back to the boat, you might want to make a paste of baking soda and water to spread over the area to neutralize any remaining acid. If it foams up acid is still active. At least rinse that area with water.

You might get some pics of the whole Holiday. We need our addiction fed, you know. Welcome to the Starmada, too.
