I have a 1970 115hp Johnson and its got the electric shift wire going into the lower unit. Is there a specific oil I need to use? Do you use different lubes for Mechanical Shift vs. Electric Shift Wire?
Thank you for any suggestions!

You talking about lube for inside the gearcase? OMC/BRP Premium Blend Gearcae Lubricant. Replaces obsolete OMC Type C.

Use a good quality lower unit oil (preferably OMC) and you'll be fine.
