What material to bed an aluminum kicker bracket?

Hey guys,
I am about to install an OMC aluminum kicker motor bracket on my gel coated transom. What material should I use to bed the bolts and seal the bracket against the transom? I think 3M 5200 would be too permanent for my liking. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks8)

4200 is removable. Are you intending on taking it off? 5200 will come off ...... with extra work.

:/ I guess I dont plan on taking it off. I know 5200 will be real permanent, but it will also not leak for sure! 5200 it is...

there's a guy on here that was talking about removing a tramsom plate that was embedded with 5200. pull the gel coat off. I'D 5200 around the bolts, 4200 embedded.
