Re: What model boat?

Well, the first couple of things that come to mind are probably not what you're looking for :D

It's a Bayliner I/O bowrider - what are you trying to find out about it?

The dry side is up, wet side down. That is a good sign.

Re: What model boat?

Registration numbers are not in the right place.

Year is coded into the hull id on the transom.

Yes there are issues with these boats. The biggest being owners that don't maintain them properly.
And, of course, there is the rotten floor/stringer/transom issue, blame that on the owner too.

Different engines available every year, some are way underpowered, some are not.

If it has an "L" drive, run away from it.

Re: What model boat?

Great eye roscoe - I didn't even notice the registration numbers!

Curly Fry - It looks like somewhere between an 18' and 20' Bayliner. It's not their newest, but I have no clue what year. My dad has a 19' Bayliner Capri from the early 2000's and this looks newer than that.

There are a host of options available on a boat like that one - you can get several different power plants for it, all sorts of options in terms of stereos and other creature comforts. You'll also get mixed reviews on Bayliner as a brand (which is true of most boat brands). Its probably rated to hold a capacity of about 8 people, plus a reasonable amount of gear. Beyond that, the picture doesn't tell us very much at all - except that this specific boat is apparently seaworthy.

If you're looking for help on buying a boat, probably best to ask more specific questions.

Hope that helps a little.
