I have a 87 150 Black Max XR2 (1987 BLK MAX OB209646 1170797ELPTO) I'm trying to identify and locate the trigger for the neutral shift bar.

Please see the attached pictures, the handle would not lock onto the neutral position, so I took it apart and the trigger was broken.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

I was looking for over an hour last night on that same site. How did you go about finding the control box schematics? I looked under the engine listing but did not see anything relating to the control box.

"Mercury Commander Instructions" is a good place to start when you are looking for instructions pertaining to a mercury commander control station.

Thank you Wired, It seems like everyone calls the control box something different. Commander was no where on the controller and I did not know if there was a serial number I could look up to find what model/year it was.

Honestly, I did try looking it up before I surrendered and asked for help here. I searched many different keywords with no results like Quicksilver, Black Max XR2, serial number and engine code blah, blah, blah.

Again thank you.....:rockon::rockon:
