i have looked at differant sites online trying to find out what year model my mercury 150 XR6 is. the number on the plate is OD245582 can someone please tell me what year this motor is and are they good engines. thank you kindly

It's a 1993 MERCURY 2.5L 150XR6 ELPTO, Model Number: 1150454ND.

Mercury service manual part number 90-824052R3.
