Hey Folks,<br /> I recently bought a Mariner 90 horse 3 cylinder. I can't find the model number. I found a postage stamp size tag with the serial number on the transom mount but I can't read it. This engine has oil injection and the left and right fiberglas engine covers if this helps. Any help is appeciated. Thanks

They made those for 10 years, from 1987 through 1997. You may get lucky, and locate the serial number on the block somewhere. Specifically, have a look for a round metal disk with numbers on it. They often show the serial number. <br /><br />Post a picture, perhaps that can help narrow it down.
