what motor do i have ? lol

on the plate that mounts the motor to the boat it says 65373r which to my research says its a 1973 evinrude 65 horse. but when i take the cover off there is a little bracket by the flywheel that says "1975 75 horse power spark advanced" sooooo lol which one is it ? i really trying to do as much research as possible but i need to know what to search

Look for a round freeze plug on the powerhead. It may (or may not) have the model number on it.

that little freeze plug looking thing on it says 388155 rph but i couldnt find that to mean anything....

I believe that would be the serial number does it match the serial number on the mounting bracket? There should also be another freeze plug with the model number somewhere.
