what motor(s) will this carb kit fit?

Hi guys, say i was looking through my big box of parts and came across a sierra carb kit, it is 18-7043 sierra number and it says it will replace J/E 382047, 382049, and 383052. Does any one recognize those part numbers?? can anyone tell me what motors it will fit? I have boxes of new parts , but don't know what they will fit, dozens of new piston rings with nothing but a part number on them. I am trying to sort them all out. Thanks for any info...

go to a NAPA parts store, get one of their Marine parts calatlogs, you can crossreference all the numbers. 18-7043 fits many OMC motors prior to 1968.

Again, I cannot tell you how much that helps me. It will fit a bunch I have, I made a note of it and book marked the reference page. You guys are the greatest. Now that I have the sierra catalogue , I can go through and find out what all the sierra stuff I have fits. Just so happens I am about to do the carb on my '61 5.5 ev fisherman and it fits it. I wish I had a bunch more as it fits the 18's too and i have 5 or 6 of them. I don't have much money this time of year but lots of time. So this kit and your info really comes in handy.
