What MPH with a 3.0 Volvo

Hi All!<br /><br />Another question from me (been posting them a lot lately ). I got a Caravelle 1750BR SE 1994 with a brand new 3.0 GM in it. What speed should i get with a 15X17 standard alu prop? At what RPM?<br /><br />Thanx to all (in advance, of course)<br /><br />Alex

Max rpms for that engine should be between 4200 and 4600 if you are propped correctly. My Four Winns Horizon 170 runs about 44 MPH with a 14.25 x 23" prop. I have the 2.18 final drive ratio.
