What oil and anode kit for VP SX-M?

I have a VP outdrive product number 3868891, type SX-M on a 1998 24 ft. Wellcraft powered by a VP 5.7 in fresh water (Niagara River/Lake Erie). I want to replace the outdrive oil and anodes. What outdrive oil and how much do I need? What anode kit do I need? Should I use magnesium?

Magnesium or Aluminum either one will work. Aluminum will probably be a lot easier to find.

The gear lube is grade GL-5 Synthetic Gear Oil. Just under 3 quarts.

Thanks Don. I bought the boat last season and the drive only has one anode on it. How many anodes should it have and where?
