what oil goes in my power trim?

Just wondering what oil to replace in my power trim? can i use power steering fluid or is there a special oil?

You might advise on the year and HP of your motor. Most modern PTT units use Dextron III ATF.

Probably Dextron but I had to use hydraulic jack fluid (I had nothing else)in mine and it works just fine.
