this is a 1969 merc 1000 100hp im pretty sure this is where the throttle meets the engine. anyone know the name of this part?? any help would be very appreciated, i want to get out and fish!

ok... What I see is the bottom of the bottom carb, the end of the throttle shaft for that carb. Below that is the top of the upper shift shaft and the link rod.

There's nothing missing. Everything looks right there, albeit seriously out of focus (try using the 'macro' setting on the camera next time)....

The movement of the throttle is done from the top of the top carb, not the bottom of the bottom carb....
