what pitch of prop do i get?

I have a 1983 evinrude 60hp 13 spline but i dont know the recommended pitch. Is there a way of measuring the one you currently have? i want a little more performance and upgrade to stainless. thanx in advance to all.

Your present setup may need improving as well.
Numbers should be on the prop -- X --diameter X pitch.
Without your present boat size/type,prop size,max rpm and speed prop selection is a crap shoot both for results and your motors health.
