what prop is this? REMCO?

i have a 3 blade stainless 27 pitch prop with the mercury style power ports, and its made by REMCO.<br /><br />WHO THE HECK IS REMCO<br /><br />if you have any idea about this prop or what its worth, as i have no use for it lemme know<br /><br />its EXTREMELy clean with no nicks, rust, anything. looks new<br /><br />EDIT: OOPS, ITS REMCO, NOT METCO AS PREVIOUSLY STATED

google found a metco marine dealer in maine, who provides john deer marine engines. no idea if there is a link there.

I've found zero on REMCO.....except that it is a very popular toy manufacturer.<br />Positive it's not a PROPCO?????????

Remco is or was a prop / performance guy in or near Lake City, FL if I remember correctly. His first name was Gene maybe??? I believe he delt in Mercury and Hydrostream.<br /><br />Its probably a Mercury chopper (over hub exhaust) thats been modified.<br /><br />As far as value -- with a performance prop, if it doesnt work on the customers boat its not worth anything. However the next boat you try it on it might be the best thing since sliced bread. If its been thinned, an old trick to gain rpm, it wont hold much value.
