Looking to buy a new prop for my 1990 Liberator 251. It's a 454 Omc with King Cobra drive (1.41 or 1.42 Get set I think). Right now it has a 14.25 X19 SS on it and the previous owner ran into a sand bar cruising in to anchor. The edges are bent up slightly but nothing crazy....would make a good back up prop now.
I took the boat out this weekend with the GPS and it ran 51 MPH @ roughly 4800-5000 RPM. It was a little choppy and I couldn't get an accurate reading but that's roughly what I was seeing. I was thinking about going to a 21 pitch and seeing what that would get me for some extra top end.
What are you guys running and has anyone tried BBlades props?
