what prop

I just bought a 87 3.0 4 cylnder 17ft boat. I need a new prop but dont know what would be the best prop to buy. we are going to be wakeboarding behind it the most and the rest just playing around . I dont care for top speed. I was looking around and can buy a 19 pitch oem for 140 and a ss for about 300 plus. My question is , is it worth the extra money to go with the ss over the oem? Also would a 19 pitch be better or a 17 pitch? THANKS

Really need your present prop size, max rpm and speed(gps if possible).
Wouldn't hurt to know what boat.Prop selection without these specs is
a crap shoot and could waste gas,money and the health of your engine.

My prop I have know is a 17 pitch. I dont know the max speed or rpm cuz I just bought it and only took it out to the lake just for a test drive. The boat is a mark twain.
