what RPM'S is the limit on the ignition of a 1995 60hp 3 cyl Rude

1995 Evinrude 3 Cylinder 60hp.(54ci)
Model no BE60TLEOC
Serial no G 03751787
Made in USA

I need to know at what revs the limiter on the ignition comes in at ?

ive been told by someone at brp its 7,000 rpm's is this correct ?
or is it 6500rpms like someone else has told me ?

ive had a fair bit of dodgy/bad info from BRP about these engines in the past so thought i would ask on here.

Your engine has a CD3AL67 power pack => nominal limit at 6,700 rpms. You can expect +/-300 rpms tolerance.

cheers for the info
so anywhere between 6400 and 7000 it will kick in.
thats good to know, it means a certain prop i have is doing what i expected it does and makes the slip on the prop about right too.

i will be using a rev counter from now onwards ,but wanted to verify what the rev counter will show if take it to the limit (i hope not).
