Re: what rpm's range

Since we have no idea what type of boat the engine is on, what prop you have now, and what your wide open throttle rpm was with that prop, we don't have a clue what to tell you. I can tell you the "recommended" wide open throttle rpm does not change just because the engine was bored and rebuilt. I can also tell you you likely did not pick up 10 HP with 0.015 overbore so changing props is unnecessary -- unless the original prop was wrong to begin with.

Re: what rpm's range

Sorry for the lack of info i didnt think the boat size mattered. I thought it was just a motor rpm. Its 18 flat aluminum im going with the tp hustler prop. Was looking to make sure i get the right pitch i presently have a 20p and cant get out the hole. I was informed to raise the motor go with a cupped prop. Also the motor was ported to .WOT before build was 5800rpm at (gps)52mph. basically what your tellin me is my rpm's should not change after the overhaul if so i appreciate your input thanks.
