What service manual?

Hello, I need help figuring out which service manual to get. I have a 1987 Bass Tracker 16 with a Mariner 40HP Outboard motor. The tag on the motor says: Mariner 40ELTO 6E9 L 500259. I assume the year is 1987, as that’s the year of the boat. I have read that Mariner motors with 6E9 were actually Yamaha motors, but I am not sure. Thus am unsure what service manual I should get, Mariner or Yamaha. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

Yes the engine is a 1987 MARINER SANSHIN 40-H.P Model Number 7040737.
L = Long Shaft.
