what should i clean the inside of my boat cover with??

Just wondering what I should us to clean the inside of my boat cover with? its gross on the inside for some reason and gets the vinyl wicked dirty putting it on and off as its draging on the seat. What will get this deep dirt off and wont hurt it? its a old boat cover not sure of the brand name and no washing instructions on it.

I would attempt a mild soap and luke warm water.
Try a small patch before doing the whole thing, if it holds together try a soft brush.
After it has been cleaned rinse and apply water repellant.
