i've come across a '03 Premier Grand Majestic Ltd 25ft with the PTX triple toon package with a Honda OB 225 that seems to be in good condition. I'm looking to replace my '05 Sun Tracker Regency 22ft with the 3.0L I/O. Asking price is about 18,700. I've looked at NADA, but i'm not sure it takes into account the motor. I know now is not the best time to buy a boat and then have to sell mine, but it seems like an acceptable fit for my family if i can make it work. Any suggestions as to what is a fair price? Thanks.

Seems pretty high for a 7 year old boat(model change is in July).

Keep working him and get it as low as possible.

In the end a good deal is a price YOU feel good about what ever that is.

I agree with 5150. In today's market, you can probably get a few grand off that price.

That's nothing for a Honda. You can expect into the thousands. 40-50 hours a year is pretty average.

That is not a lot for any boat engine. But as stated earlier, I'm not a fan of Honda engines. But I love and have owned almost everything else built by Honda.

I've never owned a Honda outboard so I've never had any problems with them.

I feel your pain. I'm boat shopping too. I would try to find comps to use against his price. Most of the stuff I'm actually considering is selling for much less than NADA. NADA's lowest number is still retail which is usually higher than a private sale. If you're willing to wait it out that helps too. The value of anything is only what someone is willing to pay for it.
