what should the compression be on a 1955 Evinrude 15 hp??

I'm restoring my 1955 Evinrude 15 hp and im going to check the compression soon but what should i be looking for as far as numbers go? and whats the lowest psi those motors will run with? thanks

100 psi would be excellent,it will run on 60.Should be within 10% between cylinders.
If compression is low try a decarb treatment using something like seafoam.
