If its one of the fuses from the rubber boots by the shift bracket on the engine they are 50 amp..

Gary, wouldn`t that be the main system fuse and not the specific ign fuse.
Besides, I don`t think the ign. circuit should even be fused

I am talking about the fuse under the helm that has fuses for the lights, bilge, blower, etc.

Can you find on the wire the size of the wire. it looks like 12 or 14 guage, and that would be in the 20 or 15 amp area.

Ahhh... that one doesn't really matter to much. Throw a 20 or 30 in it and you'll be good to go. You can always measure it if you want to, with an ammeter under load. But it wont make to much of a difference.

What I always see though that does bug me... is check to see if your red/purple goes to the battery itself and see if that's fused.
I cringe whenever I see an aluminum boat with no fuses on the accesory battery wires.
