You need to down size that 35 by about 25HP to get into the ballpark of the correct size kicker.

A 9.9 or 15 HP (same physical size) are very common kickers for that size boat.

It will be very heavy and need a much larger and stronger bracket to mount it on, use more fuel, take up more space, you would probably need to reinforce the transom where the bracket bolts on, etc.

Can you put it on there.....yes.....is it a good option.....not really.

It would need a permanently mounted jack plate I would think. If you plan on using it for trolling or as a back up then it's probably to big. I have a 9.9 johnson on a 16' crestliner and it will push my boat 7mph loaded. Can't comment on 15's but I would think that would be perfect and weighs no more than a 9.9. Just for reference the Yamaha 9.9 high thrust seems to be the kicker of choice that I see on big jet boats these days, and I have heard nothing but good about them.

I've seen a few 25 footers with 30hp kickers mounted on the swim platform. I don't see the point as a 9.9 or 15 is going to push that boat just as fast with less gas and weight.

But the short of it is if the bracket you mount it to can handle the weight and HP then it's fine. Just not a good choice for the reasons mentioned above.
