What slide hammer to get?

The bearing case is stuck in a 30hp Evinrude and I have read where Omc makes a slide hammer for this purpose. One person used a slide hammer with an adapter and nut that would keep it on the end of the prop shaft.

I might need it for an 8,9.9, 35, and 50 hp Evin/Johnson's.

Some don't have j hooks that are long enough or are too wide.

I prefer the most economical tool yet don't want to mess it up either.

Is there any particular model / brand that is known to work?

Thanks.

Are you going to use a slide hammer to remove the propshaft, or bearing housing?

There a few of these tools floating around on the ebay (get it-a boat pun!). Some are pretty cheap. I was looking for the tools to pull and press my front prop shaft bearing race, but I couldn't find them. I ended up using a scientific combination of heat and luck (1 part heat and 99 parts luck). However, I did see some pullers and pressers for models other than my 75hp. Look in your FSM for the part numbers then check ebay.
