What speed to expect from boat motor

Hi
'92 Bass tracker tx 17 with '98 3 cyl 70hp johnson with 14x17 inch prop. I have the motor on the last hole, the center of the prop is about 4.5 inches below the bottom of the boat.

(The 70hp is new to me J70TLECB 1998)
I get 37.1 mph gps top speed 1/2 tank gas(5.5 gal), 2 batteries, 2 seats on poles,me 175lbs. Is this expected ? Has anyone else had a tx 17 with a 70hp that could tell me their boat speed ?

Thats a very respectable speed for that rig.
But we need to know what your wide open throttle rpm's are, to know if there is much more speed hiding inside the motor.
