What starter do I need

I have a 1990 Regal 233 XL Ambassador, it needs a starter and one is hard to locate since I'm deep woods Arkansas. It has a 350 Mercruiser- carburated. There are no numbers to find on the motor or engine compartment. I was going to order this on line and wanted to make sure I was ordering the right one. Besides, what is a good on line company to order. I noticed DB Electronics.

Ayuh,... It'll need 1 of 2 possible starters,...
You need to match the bolt pattern on the 1 in it now...
The 2 mounting bolts are either straight across from each other,...
Or,..
They are staggered by an inch, or so, fore, 'n aft...

I'm Guessin' you need a staggered pattern starter...

Ok, I understand, but when ordering this starter will they know what it will be just by the bolt pattern or is there some more info they need. If anyone out deals with this type of setup maybe you can drop me a line.
