A few less bells and whistles, ie. rope start instead of electric, tiller arm, graphic on cowl isn't as pretty. Might swing a larger dia. prop.

I have a 1988, 100 HP commerical on my cuddy cabin. It is a V-4, driving a V-6 gear case.
...Larger gears, different ratio and larger prop. It is a great engine for me.

..Bob in Calif...

The Commercial models also are set up to use more common parts. For instance, a 10hp,15,25 and 35hp could use the same water pump and other service parts. This way if you had a fleet such as at a resort, etc you wouldn,t need to have a parts guru to keep things sorted out. If you need a prop, grab a prop, one size fits all. Now don't hang me out to dry here, this is just for instance info. If you have a commercial model getting the correct parts from you dealer can be trying. for some reason a lot of parts floks are not up on this. You may ask for parts for a 100hp commercial and get parts for a 100hp standard. When you explain they are incorrect, They will usually say they don't have those parts. The fact is they do, they just don't know they need to supply you with the same parts they would for a V6 etc. Again this info is just for example.
