What the heck is it called ???

There is a plastic ring that fits in the holes in my bass boat that are approx. One inch in diameter. Wiring and cables can be passed through them, but their purpose may be to allow air to vent the lower half of the boat. Either way, these plastic "trim" rings are broken and I would like to replace them. However, I can't find them anywhere becasue I don't know what they are called. Does anyone know? Thanks guys.

They are called grommets.

Can't post a pic right now, but like I said, it's about 1 inch round and about 1/2 to 3/4 inch deep, made of plastic, and pushes into holes in the fiberglass on the cockpit and gunwales areas. It doesn't block the holes like a plug but rather "dresses it up" kind of like a trim ring of sorts. Thanks.

Where would I find them in a 1" diameter? It doesn't have have anything on the reverse side to stop water from going through or to basically encase the wires going through. Thanks, I know I'm being difficult, but we're getting closer.
