What to buy next?

Hello everyone!
I wanted to get your opinions. I am farely new to boating, I bought my first boat about 3 years ago it is a 1987 Larson citation with a 4.3L omc cobra setup. Its a good first timer boat I have put a lot of work into it, but now I am thinking of up grading to something a little bit newer. I like the idea of having a bow rider style boat that is set up for fishing as well with a live well and trolling motor. I definitly want an outboard motor this time around, they seem to have less maintenance and i would rather be standing working on my motor than crouched down on my knees. I'd like to spend around 10k.

Just wondering with all the experience out there what you all would suggest as a 2nd boat purchase?

I personally prefer the aluminum fish n' ski models over the fiberglass ones. A lot of the glass ones just look like they slapped a trolling motor on a ski boat. I have seen some nice looking ones though. I think we're going to need a size range you're considering....

Well the boat i have now is 19ft long. I think it is a wonderful size lengthwise the only thing a dont like is that it is a deeeeeep v style hull. The thing is a monster, when i pull it behind my jeep it looks like it is going to run me over! Engine wise im not to sure i think my 4.3L has the right amount of power for what i use it for, not sure what the outboard equivalent would be.

It really depends on what you like. My top end is about 60 (GPS) not sure what you're getting. Outboards are typically lighter than I/O's. The big difference is my hole shot. Because it's a 2 stroke I can pull 3 slalomers out of the hole with ease. I will personally always own an outboard, but like I said before it's all personal preference. It's an arguement similar to which car brand is better Dodge, Ford, or GM? In the end you'll get what suits you best.
