Having purchased my boat in early Nov., My friend already had it winterized and ready for storage. What will I have to do to un-winterize the motor and outdrive? I figure I'll want to change the engine oil and filter and also throw in a new set of plugs and maybe wires and check the points, if not just changing it to electronic ignition. I know there are fluids to check or change in the outdrive also. I hope I'm right about my plans.

dont forget about the trim and tilt fluids , he should of changed oil, including drive fluid wen he winterized it as well u dnt wanna leave all that broke down dirty oil in the block or drive as far as i know !! I always run mine and drain a little to make sure it is not leaking water in and all seals are good .. Best thing get a manual from here it tells u everything u need to do for maint. etc ...
