Looks like he's really enjoying the snow. Enjoy while it lasts

Just sit here and follow all the threads about people liking the snow, and marking days off the calender until there is no more snow.

That looks like a blast. When my boys were that age I used to take them to Fort Meigs and sled on the hills but from what I understand they don't let you sled there anymore :(

But, since I no longer live that far north, I'll have to settle for doing my homework and checking off boxes on a callender, oh, and the occasional trip to the shooting range.

You're not implying that your season does end are you. From what I hear this time of year is prime boating season down there. Have fun.

You know I am almost tempted to make my boat into an airplane  so I can fly it south for the winter and then go boating in the warmer weather

Wow Magster.

Looks like you got a fair swack of snow there on Van Isle. Reminds me of '96.

We only had a little sprinkle here. We're coming down there for Xmas after driving through the Interior from Prince Rupert. So we should see lots of snow soon!

Well, around here the lakes are all frozen over. In another few weeks we'll be driving on them to the fishing hole.

I guess boating is something you do when your puck keeps sinking.

You can boat all year if you're prepared for it. Nothing offshore in the winter though. Too rough out there (4-6' daily). As far as the lakes and rivers, it's a little colder in the mornings but warms up to 40's-50's most days. Fishing sux cause they're too cold to bite. But still nice to be out on a sunny day.

Wife wants to move to Virginia. Not sure if I'm gonna be able to handle no boating for the winter. What's this whole "winterizing" thing you guys do? The only winterizing I do is turn off the A/C in the boat!
