Hi guys,
I have a 1988 VIP Vision... Good Trailer with new rims and tires on it, OMC 2.3L, runs absolutely perfect (now - needed a distributor gear, after spending the summer looking for one, installed just in time to use it for one day and then winterize.
) But the seats... are shot. The flooor is solid, and we started to redo the upholstery... but not excited about finishing it. Do I sell it like it is and take my lumps, or do I part it out on e-bay and try and make most of it back? Frustrating having a boat that runs as well as it does but the seats are total junk. I have a friend that does upholstery and he said if I rebuild the plyood structures he'll redo the seats for cheap. However, I'm sure I'd still have $1k in it.... What am I gonna get for it in the spring, $2500? OMC parts seem like it does very well on e-bay.
I'd appreciate any input.
