Hello all! I am New, first post here, but sure not to be my last. My pop's and i have found ourselves a guy with a 66 20' mini cabin tri-hull and i forgot the brand. It's been in his family from the beginning. It will need a little fiberglass work, all new electric, work inside the cabin. And of course the engine. the guy really wants this boat gone its been sitting outside his house for a year now. other than that the past 12 years it's been garaged. His dad which past about that long ago had just had the outboard and engine rebuilt. And they really look it too. nice and clean, does look pretty new. My question for you all is what should my dad and i be expected to replace or check on the engine thats sat for that long? Seal's, lines? if it were you, would you take apart the whole thing? also what might have gone bad with the outboard. Will the tank need to be scraped or cleaned? its on a trailer and everything. he wants 1000 for it but i think i can get it for less. He said the motor has less than 50 hours on it.
