Hello<br /><br />I'm staying for some time in Venice, Italy, and have been looking around for a boat. I've been offered a 1976 16 ft. Glastron 4-seat bow rider with a Johnson 85 hp engine. It is a V4, 2-stroke engine - probably from 1976 or 1977. <br /><br />The overall price of US 1'300 seems pretty good - but I'm quite worried about the amount of gas and oil this beast will consume. Can someone give a rough idea of what to expect in terms of running costs of the Johnson with this boat?<br /><br />I'm an absolute novice boater, so any advice on the purchase is more than welcome.
