Like the title says, anything in particular I should be aware of? It's a 70's vintage Mercury 7.5 tiller that I'm consisidering using as a kicker on my 22' Sylvan Offshore. The boat already has a kicker mount. Seller has said all the usually good things, like just professionally serviced last fall etc. but as of yet I've not seen any paperwork to verify.

Motor is about 1 1/2 hour drive away. I'll see if seller can send me the VIN. What exactly do you mean by bad drive shafts?

Got some more info from the seller. Motor is a '72 and the serial number is 7022704.
