what to use for sealant?

hi, i notched out my transom, and now want to seal the wood before i glass it. what should i use???

Nothing, anything you put on the wood other than the resin you plan to glass it with will create bonding problems.

what would you recommend i do for the glass? the area is 18 inches long x 2 inches wide.

depending on what resin you use....epoxy or poly.....will determine your glass...


if you use poly......matt, cloth , matt....

epoxy.....cloth , cloth.....

i would think poly is more than adaquate for this job.....but its your call
