I'm going to have a number of holes in the outer aluminum skin of my boat once my new transom is installed. What should I use to fill them in? The holes will be backed by the new sealed transom so they won't go all the way through. It looks like Marine-Tex will work for this. Sound good?

JB Weld Marine. works great on aluminum boats. i used it to fill a 2 inch gash, had to build it up in the gash, but has held for 2 years.

I agree with tashadaddy, jbweld is recommended by just about everyone on here for fixing holes/gashes in aluminum. In fact my project boat(aluminum) is about to meet Mr.weld...;)
